Lainz are a historic group from Bologna born in the 90s on the Italian Funky Acid-Jazz scene, with numerous concerts under their belt and an EP "Vinile" (Black Note, 1995). The songs on the EP are: Vinile, Blue Lainz, Instinct, All Lainz. The original lineup was composed of: Mirko Marzaduri (guitar), Davide Blandamura (keyboards), Mirco Pellati (drums), Massimo Maccio Zesi (bass) and Federico Guarneri percussion; the recording was attended by: Lele Gaudì (vocals), Frank Nemola (trumpet), Andrea Innesto (alto sax), Alberto Pietropoli (tenor sax) and Piero Innati (trombone), all leading names on the Bolognese music scene. After a few years of stopping, the Lainz 2.0 version was born in 2020 with Mirko Marzaduri, Mirco Pellati and Fred Guarneri from the old lineup, to whom are added Massimo Testa (electric piano) and Picchio G Bagnoli (bass), with the intention of proposing a repertoire of original songs inspired by their origins and the new Jazz Funky and Groove trends. Picchio G Bagnoli, Mirco Pellati and Federico Guarneri are also members of the Black & Brown group already well known by those who follow the IRMA records catalogue. On the Indigo album there are bonus tracks with a Gaudì remix of the song Sfrombolus
